Fox Music of Chesapeake is located in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake on the corner of Kempsville Road and Volvo Parkway right next to Harris Teeter. We are also easily accessible from parts of Virginia Beach, only five minutes from Tallwood High School, at the intersection where Lynnhaven Parkway turns into Volvo Parkway. We offer piano lessons and singing lessons for children ages 7 and older as well as for teens and adults of all ages.

About Us

For more than 35 years, Fox Music has been the premier music studio for piano lessons and singing lessons in Hampton Roads offering lessons to students of all experience levels beginning at age 7. Fox Music of Chesapeake is a small family business spanning two generations that has spent more than three decades developing our award-winning curriculum and refining the student experience. Piano Lessons

Fox Music's Piano Academy provides piano lessons for children ages 7 and older, and teens and adults of all ages. Piano lessons are often the best choice for beginner music students because piano is the foundation for all other musical instruments. New students start making music right away. Our students are able to play a handful of songs within the first few weeks. Our beginner piano lessons focus on keeping a steady beat, studying the layout of the piano, learning note-names of the white keys, and mastering finger-numbers.

At Fox Music, we believe that piano lessons should be fun - not the monotonous, repetitive experience many of us had growing up. We gamify the experience to make it feel as if students are playing a game and students absolutely love it! Singing Lessons

Our Solo Vocal Academy for voice lessons makes our studio truly one of a kind. We offer programs for students of all experience levels – from total beginners who want to learn the basics of singing and mechanics of the voice to paid professionals honing their craft. We provide lessons for age groups including children ages 7-11, teens, adults, and seniors. Our Singing Stars program for ages 7-11 focuses on building confidence and self-esteem in a fun, encouraging, and educational environment.

For teens and adults, we focus on developing the voice with a healthy vocal technique and building confidence singing in front of others. We will help you build a custom vocal exercise routine for your unique voice, discuss your goals, evaluate your voice, and select the best course of study for your needs at your introductory lesson.
